Some ways to enjoy the last weekend of the year in Penticton

PENTICTON - It's the weekend between Christmas and New Year's Eve and the good times are rolling.

Christmas in the Country horse rides are happening tomorrow, Dec. 29, from noon until 3 p.m. at Red Barn Ranch.

Then in the evening the Edge Bistro at Apex Mountain is hosting a comedy show with Matt Baker headlining tomorrow night at 5 p.m.

If fine food is more your style the Great Estates Wine Experience Centre has a Wine and Cheese "Perfect Pairing" seminar. Participants are invited to taste along with a wine educator to couple harmonious combinations of wine and cheese. That is happening Saturday and Sunday from noon until 1 p.m.

Keeping in the spirit of giving Discovery House is hosting a charity event for addictions treatment on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Go to the Facebook page here to learn more.

Then on Sunday, Dec. 30, Dylan Knippelberg is having a free concert at Canning Brewery from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
