VERNON - The Vernon Recreation Centre wants to know what gets your mouth watering.

Recreation Services is asking for public input as it develops the menu at the new Creekside Energy Bar in the Vernon Rec Centre, part of an upgrade at the complex.

Community members are asked to participate in a survey to help staff finalize the food options and hours of operation for the energy bar. You can fill out the survey here.

The Creekside Energy Bar is a new food and beverage kiosk currently being built in the front lobby of the recreation centre.

“Our goal is to provide a place where our guests can refuel with a quick healthy snack, light meal or fruit smoothie after a workout. During the warmer months our creekside patio will be open to enjoy as well,” states the survey.

It’s anticipated the kiosk will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

“The purpose of this survey is to get an idea of the items our guests would like to see on our menu and to assess the expected number of visits per day. All items will be made with nutrition in mind and will be competitively priced to reflect the local market.”
