Vernon's road dust advisory lingers

A dust advisory has been issued for Vernon.

Another dust advisory has been issued for Vernon.

The advisory from Ministry of Environment and Interior Health is in effect due to high concentrations of dust and will remain so until it settles.

"Persons with chronic underlying medical conditions should postpone strenuous exercise near busy roads until the advisory is lifted," the advisiory states.

"Exposure is particularly a concern for infants, the elderly and those who have diabetes, and lung or heart disease."
